The bedside-type STG-22 is a closed-loop glycemic control system which achieves continuous blood glucose monitoring through the glucose sensor electrode by withdrawing blood from the peripheral venous vein and automatically feed-back insulin or glucose infusion to maintain the appropriate blood glucose level.
