FL series dialyzers use hydrophobic PEPA membrane which Nikkiso invented and developed originally.
PEPA membrane has characteristic three-layer structure with endotoxin blocking and adsorbing ability.

The hydrophobic PEPA membrane does not include PVP (Polyvinylpyrrolidone), so it has high biocompatibility and less complement activity.
