Nikkiso manufactures various isostatic presses for molding laminate elements. There are two types, the wet type for molding as immersed in water, and the dry type for molding with an elastic body. They are predominantly used by semiconductor manufacturers.

The newly developed geardriven dry type laminator, Model GDL-II, is most suitable for clean room application because of its characteristic pollution-free operation as it does not use a hydraulic unit and because it also offers low-noise operation.
