Nikkiso has developed the Super Critical Sprayer for research using super critical CO₂ for pulverization of various pharmaceuticals.
This equipment permits research on the RESS (Rapid Expansion of Super Critical Solutions) method and the GAS (Gas Anti-Solvent) method. This equipment adopts Nikkiso's high pressure technology that has been fostered for many years. In future, Nikkiso plans to perform tests on basic data to develop a better product while aiming to extend the market for this product.
