Ichiju Industrial Science and Technology Promotion Foundation

Shinkichi Oto, the first Nikkiso chairman, believed that enhancing productivity was imperative for resource-poor Japan and wished to contribute to raising the living standard of Japanese people through the promotion of industrial technology. Following his dream and succeeding his estate, Nikkiso founder, the late Keijiro Oto, established the Ichiju Industrial Science and Technology Promotion Foundation in November 1962.

Since then, the situation in Japan hasn't changed, and the Foundation is playing an even more vital role. Bearing the torch passed on by the founder, we are moving steadily forward to make advancements in industrial technology with a commitment to making a difference in society as we rise to meet the needs of people everywhere.
