Standard-sized Cold Isostatic Press
Cold Isostatic Press (CIP) is also known as a rubber press.
To use CIP, fill ceramics powder or metal powder in a rubber mold, barrier sample or product by vacuum pack to put them into pressure vessel.
CIP compresses the powders at a maximum water pressure of 400 MPa. Isostatic pressure enables to form complex shape, uniform and high-density bodies that cannot be manufactured by conventional uniaxial press or mechanical press.
Applications
Powder forming of refractories, insulation materials, electronic components, high melting point metal, carbide tool steel, battery material, artificial bone, artificial tooth material, and resin powder, etc.
